1. What does Invicta Consulting do?

Invicta Consulting helps small business owners understand and manage the financial side of their business.

We provide financial analysis, reporting and dashboards, budgeting and forecasting, bookkeeping, cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping, and funding readiness services. Our goal is simple: to turn financial information into something you can actually understand and use to make better business decisions.

2. What is a Financial Clarity Review?

A Financial Clarity Review is a deeper analysis of your business's financial performance.

We review your financial statements, examine important metrics, compare results across periods, and analyze your numbers from multiple angles to understand what is happening inside your business.

Then we interpret what we find and explain it in plain English — including what's working, what may need your attention, and where there may be opportunities to improve.

Think of it as a financial checkup for your business.

3. What can you learn from my financial statements?

Quite a lot.

Your Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement contain much more information than revenue, expenses, and profit alone. When analyzed together and compared over time, they can reveal trends in profitability, spending, cash flow, margins, debt, working capital, and overall financial health.

Depending on the information available, we may also analyze products, services, customers, locations, or other areas of your business to understand what is driving your results.

4. Do I need to understand accounting or finance to work with you?

Absolutely not.

In fact, that's a major part of what we do. You don't need to become a financial analyst to run a financially informed business.

We explain what your numbers mean in plain English, focus on the information that matters, and help you understand how it relates to the decisions you're making in your business.

5. What information or access will I need to provide?

That depends on the service, but we'll make the process as straightforward as possible.

For bookkeeping and many of our financial services, you'll typically add Invicta Consulting to your QuickBooks Online account and provide read-only access to your business bank and credit card accounts. This allows us to review transactions, reconcile accounts, and work with your financial information without having the ability to move money or make changes to your bank accounts.

Depending on the scope of the project, we may also request financial statements, invoices, payroll reports, sales data, accounts receivable or payable information, or other supporting records.

We'll provide you with a clear list of exactly what we need and help you through the setup process before work begins.

6. What if my books are behind or I'm not sure they're accurate?

That's okay — and it's exactly why we offer Cleanup & Catch-Up Bookkeeping.

Before relying on financial information for analysis or decision-making, we need to know that the underlying records are reasonably accurate. If your books are behind, unreconciled, or contain errors, we can help bring them up to date and correct problems before moving forward.

7. What's the difference between bookkeeping and financial analysis?

Bookkeeping records what happened. Financial analysis helps you understand what it means.

Bookkeeping keeps your transactions categorized, accounts reconciled, and financial records accurate and current.

Financial analysis takes those records further by examining profitability, cash flow, trends, margins, performance, and other factors to help you understand what's actually happening in your business.

Many businesses need both.

8. Can you create a financial dashboard for my business?

Yes.

We can bring important financial and business information together into a clear visual dashboard so you don't have to search through multiple reports or spreadsheets to understand how your business is performing.

Depending on your business and available data, your dashboard might track revenue, profitability, cash flow, expenses, accounts receivable, KPIs, trends, and other measures that are important to you.

9. Can you help me create a budget or financial forecast?

Yes.

We create practical budgets and forecasts based on your historical performance, current circumstances, assumptions, and business plans.

Forecasting can help you anticipate cash needs, plan expenses, evaluate hiring or investments, prepare for different scenarios, and understand how today's decisions could affect your business in the months ahead.

10. Can you help prepare my business for a loan or funding application?

Yes.

Our Funding & Loan Readiness service helps organize and prepare your financial information so you can present lenders or other funding partners with a clear and credible picture of your business.

This may include reviewing your financial statements, identifying issues that should be addressed before applying, preparing projections, and organizing financial documentation.

We do not provide loans or guarantee approval. Lending decisions are ultimately made by the lender.

11. How much do your services cost?

Pricing varies depending on the service, the size and complexity of your business, and the scope of work involved.

You'll find starting prices on each individual service page to give you an idea of what to expect before contacting us. Once we learn more about your business and what you need, we'll confirm the scope of work and provide clear pricing before we begin.

No surprise fees and no commitment until you know exactly what you're paying for.

12. I'm not sure which service I need. Where should I start?

Start with a conversation.

You don't need to diagnose the financial problem before contacting us. Tell us what's happening in your business, what questions you're trying to answer, or where you're feeling stuck.

We'll help determine whether you need financial analysis, better reporting, bookkeeping cleanup, forecasting, or another type of support — and recommend the most appropriate place to start.
